The George Washington University Alumni Fantasy Football League was started by a bunch of undergraduate kids sitting around in a dorm room in 1984.  One of us had heard about this fantasy football thing and remembered some of the rules and we made up the rest.  Six of those original eight kids are still getting together every year to draft teams and pick starters every football season.  And while we don't calculate scores manually anymore, or actually meet face to face, the friendly competition and comradery are still like they were in 1984.

The scoring is based on both touchdowns and yardage and the standings are by total team points.
