I guess, like it or not, we spend most of our time with our colleagues as opposed to friends and family. Then again, I used to work with my wife and some of my best friends and the money pays for trips to see the others.

The picture on the right is from September 1989, during a client boondoggle on the Potomac.
I've been
working as a Senior Analyst at
Teal group Corporation since early 2002. The company is an
aerospace and defense consulting firm based in Fairfax, Virginia.
I worked as a
financial consultant after I resigned my job at EMM. I
spent my time working either with venture capital firms looking at
technology and/or emerging market firms, or on the financial
projections and business plans of a few start-up companies to help
make them become presentable to potential investors.
I worked as a
Co-Portfolio Manager at
Emerging Markets
Management in Arlington, Virginia from November 1988 to February
2000. Actually, I started off as the computer guy, then
branched into accounting and research assistant before I did some
real work as an investment analyst. I covered some Southeast
Asian markets, the Middle East and managed an Asian convertible bond
fund.
